Based upon the founding principle of “Love for Mankind with Medical Care,” Kangnam was founded in 1980, as the second affiliate of Hallym University Medical Center(HUMC).

With our dedicated staff and employees, advanced technology and state-of-the-art facilities, we have served the healthcare needs of the community for about thirty years. Since HUMC entered into an affiliation agreement on faculty exchange and research with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, affiliated with both the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Weill Cornell Medical College, in 2004, we at Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital have strived to provide our customers with quality services, while meeting today’s global standards through joint academic research and a global network of medical services.

Kangnam has grown to be an epicenter of specialized medical services in Korea with its centers of excellence: cancer center equipped with digitalized and integrated medical information system, da Vinci robot surgery center, cardiovascular center, breast center, spine center, retina center, children’s asthma and allergy center, digestive endoscope center, gynecological center, IIOC and bladder cancer center.
